It’s been FREEZING in Sydney over the last few weeks – we’ve definitely turned the corner into the serious part of winter. I’m sure people reading this from colder parts of the world scoff at what we call winter though!
One of my favourite places to walk my dog Maverick is on the local soccer fields near our house…on really cold mornings these fill up with mist which makes for some really cool (pardon the pun) high key shots!

Mav ran off into the mist at one point and returned wielding an enormous stick.

The stick seemed to keep getting a little shorter the more we played with it.

Mav eventually stopped running and sat down for a good munch on what was left of the stick….with mixed results.

It was a great way to start off the day – the fog actually cleared up around half an hour later so I was glad we got to play in it when we did!
Next up on the blog circle is Tracy Allard of Penny Whistle Photography fetching portraits in Coppell and surrounding communities in the Dallas – Fort Worth metroplex. Click the link to read her blog and follow the circle all the way around back to Mav!

I love the simple color palette and minimalist composition of these images; what a great set. Beautiful work.
