I first met Harry the black labrador when he was a wee little thing at puppy preschool. He looked like this:
Squeeeeeeeeeee!!! So you can imagine my excitement when his mum emailed me to find out if we could organise a session for not just Harry, but his curly coat retriever ‘cousin’ Jett too! This is Harry now, ten months old and all grown up.
And this is Jett – he is eight years old and gentle as pie. He’s like a big cuddly teddy bear!
The photo session was actually a birthday present for Jett’s mum, who is Harry’s mum’s mum! I made sure to get lots of photos of the boys looking suave and handsome.
But it wasn’t all serious – just look at this ridiculous goofy grin!!
Harry and Jett are both retriever breeds – and they both lived up to their name! In their pre-shoot questionnaire I had asked what each of their favourite toys were…the answer was ‘whatever the other one has!’ And boy, was this true! Lucky I had two squeaky balls on hand for them to play with and chase each other for.
Jett and Harry were both really loving playtime!! Jett had some mad Sea-World-esque skills happening with the little squeaky ball while Harry found the best stick ever.
I love this cheeky combo of Jett and Harry together.
