Henry and Max are two cheeky brothers who are often found in cahoots and shenanigans galore!
Max the cocker spaniel x cavalier was five years old at the time of our shoot. He was definitely the cheekiest and really hammed it up for the camera. Just look at that mischievous grin!
At the time of our shoot, Henry was nine and a half. He’s a handsome and distinguished labrador gentleman who knows what’s what.
Henry was starting to slow down a little with his older age and like anyone of a more mature age, he had a strong appreciation for enjoying the little moments and taking in the view.
Look at those big soulful eyes! Max, not to be outdone by Henry’s regal posing, showed off his adorable trick of ‘playing cute’ by tilting his head.
While Henry and Max are the ‘only children’ of the family, little did they know that a big surprise was in store. A big surprise that warranted dapper new bow ties…and blackboards?!
Yep that’s right! Henry and Max were about to become big brothers to a tiny little human. I don’t think either of them quite understood what all the fuss was about – or indeed what was to come!!
We had our photo shoot on a beautiful sunny afternoon by the river. After an afternoon of serious modelling and posing, it was finally time for the boys to cool off with a long awaited swim. Max went into what his mum calls his ‘hyperactive toddler’ mode, he was SO happy!
Henry took his time to have a careful look at the river before jumping in.
This was the last shot of the day and one of my absolute favourites from this session.
