This is a picture of Mav in front of a door. It could have been taken in Sydney (which it was) but I like to think it’s more reminiscent of an old English building.

You may notice that Mav is wearing a Booking.com bandanna – this is his new uniform! He was recently selected as the Booking.com Official Canine Travel Advisor so he can help you find pet-friendly accommodation all over the world.

We thought he had better do some research to brush up on his travel agent skills so we started in Sydney.

He then visited the Scottish Highlands.

And some graffiti in Berlin.

And some little Italian alleyways.

Then a French bakery.

Here he is in Amsterdam, ready to hop on his bicycle and cycle away.

And then he cycled through Europe to visit all the flower fields!

Mav’s new official appointment has him dining exclusively with celebrities in Los Angeles.

But he still made time to play with the leaves in Central Park.

And visit the thermal mud pools in Fiji.

Japan was pretty cool.

Mav had to get a beanie to rug up for the snow!

He’d thawed out though by the time he arrived at this door on the streets of Colombo.

Mav takes his new responsibility as an Official Canine Travel Advisor very seriously…he’s definitely used it to sneak a few extra good boy treats over the past few weeks! We’re not sure yet what else his official role has in store for him but stay tuned for more updates.

I wonder if any Sydney-siders recognise any of our ‘international’ destinations? Let me know in the comments if you do!

This blog started and ended with photos of doors – with a whole bunch of international windows in between! Follow the circle to meet Tracy Allard of Penny Whistle Photography for fetching portraits in Coppell and surrounding communities in the Dallas – Fort Worth metroplex.
