Time for a mini blog! I’ve been going through my old photo catalog and have decided to do some little showcases on photo shoots I did before I actually started blogging my sessions properly. I think it’s so interesting to look back and notice how much my style has changed over the past few years as well!
Today the spotlight is on my afternoon spent with Ash the domestic shorthair and Charlie the cavoodle. It’s always so different working with dogs vs cats – both require totally different approaches and photography styles.
At the time of our photo shoot, Ash was two years old and certainly queen of the household. She wasn’t super fond of the camera but I managed to capture a few sneaky shots.
I really enjoyed editing her photos in a more vintage, regal style – very different from how I edit photos now but I think it suited her character well. Ash is so stunning she has been featured in magazines.
Where Ash was regal, Charlie was rambunctious! Just a ten month old puppy, she was super cheeky and playful. She’s quite the star too, having even appeared in a Petbarn TV commercial!
She looved being the centre of attention and by the end of our session was so worn out it was all she could do to rest her weary head for a cuddle.
I had a great session with Ash and Charlie and it’s been fun to revisit these photos for a mini blog post!
